Anna R. (Caruso) Wolfe, 82, formerly of Gilpin Township, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007. She was living in Westlake, Ohio with a niece and nephew. She was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Brockway, Pa., and moved to the Kiski Valley after she married. She was a retired hairdresser and enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, needlework and crossword puzzles. Anna was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and worked on many activities at the former Assumption Church and Catholic Canter in Leechburg. Survivors include a sister, Louise Coccimiglio, of Force, Pa.; a brother, Theodore Caruso, of Aviano, Italy; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamine and Rose Porco Caruso; her husband, R. Eugene Wolfe, who passed away Jan. 21, 2003; two sisters, Margaret Caruso, and Nellie Gomolek; and four brothers, William, Victor, George and Benjamine Caruso II. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gilpin Township. Arrangements are being made by DUNMIRE-KERR FUNERAL HOME, Vandergrift.
