"COLONIE Charles M. Tribley, 69, of Park Avenue, Latham, died Sunday at Albany Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rotterdam and was a Latham resident most of his life. Mr. Tribley retired from Troy Belting in 1988 after 14 years as a belt specialist. Prior to that, he was a milkman for Central Dairy for 21 years. Mr. Tribley was a World War II Army veteran who served in Central Europe from 1944 to 1946. He was a member of Colonie Elks Lodge 2192 and the American Legion Post in Albany. Survivors include his wife, Marie Brown Tribley; two daughters, Jyl Tribley Moore of Aurora, Colo., and Colleen Chestnut of Latham; two sons, Charles L. Tribley and Bryan A. Tribley, both of Latham; a sister, Joyce Gallup of Latham; two brothers, Donald Tribley and Bert Tribley, both of Latham; and four grandchildren. A service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Burial will be in Memory's Garden.
