"LATHAM - Donald B. Tribley Sr., 68, of Latham, died Sunday after being stricken at home. Mr. Tribley was born in Schenectady. He was a lifelong resident of the Verdoy area and a graduate of Watervliet High School. He was a heavy equipment operator and maintenance mechanic with the Colonie Highway Department for 26 years, retiring in 1986. Mr. Tribley served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Riccardi of Latham and Karen M. Batko of Cohoes; a son, Donald B. Tribley Jr. of Latham; a sister, Joyce Gallup of Latham; and two grandchildren. A service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bowen Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie. Calling hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions in Mr. Tribley's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society."
