Jeanne Marie Armentor, 63, passed away in a local care facility on Sunday, April 07, 2019.
She was born on July 31, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA to Merlin and Lillian Schmit Gremillion. She loved her grandbabies dearly and will be remembered as an excellent cook. She enjoyed playing bingo and pokeno.
Those left to cherish her memory includer her husband of 36 years, John "Manny" Armentor; daughters, Amanda Chaumont (Quinton) of Creole, LA and Aimee Lindley (Derek) of Kinder, LA; grandchildren, Koby Chaumont, Brilee Chaumont, Jade Chaumont, Kinzee Chaumont, Bryson Gray, and Olivia Lindley; sisters, Pamela Briggs of Lake Charles, LA and Lori Groves (Kendall) of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Merlin Gremillion, Jr. (Mary) of Lake Charles, LA and Robert Gremillion (Sherrie) of Lake Charles, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Aaron Travis Armentor.
Her funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. The Very Rev. Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Our Lady of the Marsh cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 PM until 8 PM with a rosary being recited at 6 PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the start of the service.
