Mrs. Randolph Is Taken By Death
Mrs. Julia Ann Randolph, aged 71, of Town Creek, route 3, passed away Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Colbert county hospital.
Deceased was born in Lawrence county and had lived in that area most of her life.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. M.A. Nugent, Mrs. Frank Terry, Mrs. Charlie Hughes, all of Courtland, and Mrs. Pearlie Smith, of Town Creek; three sons, Russel, of Leighton; Jimmy, of Meridian, Miss., Seberan, of Courtland; three brothers, Thomas Burden, of Leighton; William Burden, of Town Creek and Jackie Burden, of Moulton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Simmons, of Town Creek, and Mrs. Sara Mardis, of Hatton, 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Blackground church, near Town Creek, with Rev. E.L. McFree officiating. Interment was in the Blackground cemetery, Brown-Service, Tuscumbia, directing.
