Sky was a Christmas present from me to my mom back in 1998. I purchased him from a small store in November or early December of 1998. He was just a little baby parakeet when we got him. He actually fit through the bars of his cage and got out a couple times. He stayed in a smaller cage until he was big enough to stay in the big cage. He was a lovely little parakeet who is missed very much by all who knew him.
He would have been 10 years old this Fall.
He would call me Jesca as my name is Jessica. He could imitate the dogs and the phone.
Though I love birds I will never get another one because I don't think it is fair to live all your life in a cage when the only crime was to be born.
