OBIT

MONICO SAVELLS CONNER
IN MEMORY

The guardian angel has visited the home of Mr. E. W. Conner and called his sweet devoted wife from this sinful world to a sweet celestial where no misery awaits her coming but the glad tidings of a sweet mother and many relatives who
have gone before.

She was the former Miss Monico Savells, married to Mr. E. W. Conner October 31,1911.

She was born March 24,1893, died Jan 3.1918.

She leaves to mourn her death a husband, son, father, sister, brother and many relatives and friends.

She professed faith in Christ in childhood and first united with the Christian Union Church living a true Christian for many years. Then she united with the Baptist church at Hopewell some few months ago.

We are left to mourn her death, to be robbed of the sunshine she carried with her and to prepare to meet her.

* - notation from Marion Donaldson -from a scrapbook clipping in my possession.Monico was my mother's sister, two years older, and the daughter of George R. Savells Jr and Nancy Jane Joyce. Incidentally-- She had helped someone who was sick with tuberculosis and then became ill with same but was in neck/throat area, was expecting second child when she died; doctors told her if she would get pregnant, would build up her system,or resistance ,whatever, to help her illness.
