"Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Savannah Monday, November 2, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Rosabel Bowman Kubach, wife of Thomas Kubach. Rev. W. E. Purdy officiated, assisted by Rev. Hall. Burial was in the Savannah cemetery.

Rosabel Bowman Kubach, youngest daughter of Edward and Maggie Bowman, was born at Savannah, Mo., June 28, 1908, and passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. C. Breit, October 31, 1936, at the age of 28 years, four months and three days. At the age of twelve, she had inflammatory rheumatism which left her with an afflicted heart from which she never entirely recovered. She engaged in the beauty culture work at King City and Stanberry, and had operated a shop in Savannah for the past three and a half years prior to her marriage. She was united in marriage to Thomas L. Kubach on February 27, 1936, and went to housekeeping on a farm adjoining her parents.

Rosabel is survived by her husband, Thomas Kubach; her mother, Mrs. Maggie Bowman; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Pittman, Mrs. Lillie Moran and Mrs. Mary Breit; a brother, Paul; and a host of other relatives and friends who sincerely mourn the going of one so young and capable of blessing the lives of all those about her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), November 6, 1936
