A native of Savannah, Mrs. Pittman had lived there until 1977, when she moved to Fairfax to live with her daughter. She had been a resident of Tarkio since 1987. She was a former member of the Cumberland Ridge Presbyterian Church in Savannah. In 1922, she married William J. Pittman in Savannah. He died in 1977.
Mrs. Pittman was also preceded in death by three sisters, Rosabel Kubach, Lily M. Moran and Mary R. Breit; and a brother, Paul L. Bowman. Surviving are two daughters, Doris Dixon of Fairfax and Stella DeWees of Winter Haven, Fla.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Burial in the Savannah Cemetery." St Joseph News-Press, August 23, 1990
