Sandra K. "Sandy" Toombs, 67, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 9, 1955, in Muncie to the late, Herbert & Mary (Watson) Hollenback.
Sandy graduated from Anderson High School in 1974. She worked several years as a QMA at Riverview Hospital, worked in all capacities at 24 Hour Café, and had been a bartender at The Eagles, 3rd Base, & at Hoosier Park. Sandy was fun loving and made sure everyone had a good time.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ann McGuire & Brenda Peralta; son, George Shields; grandchildren, Twilla Nichols, Larry Wilson Jr., Kaitlyn McGuire, Damien McGuire, Andrew McGuire, Alejandra McGuire, Juan Peralta, Elijah McGuire, Jaden Price & Shawn Price II; special ex-husband, Frank McGuire; aunts, Sherry Watson & Samara Pulley; seven great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; special friend, David Alger. She was preceded by her son, Frankie McGuire, Jr.
Services will be at 1pm Monday, January 16 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of services.
