Joe Bryan Ashley, 63, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on January 04, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Joe was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Joe Bailey Ashley and Gracie Irene Ashley (Hickle) on April 30, 1959. He called Tulsa home for many years of his life. He was very skilled and gifted in all his work. When doing anything, he did it with excellence. From carpentry, painting cars, bodywork as well as mechanical, it was always done well. He thoroughly enjoyed working with his hands and was always ready for his next task, often seeking them out before they would come to him. He took so much pride in anything his name was attached to that he would often always double back on any job to ensure it was more than exceptional because that's what he strived for, always. Joe enjoyed riding motorcycles. His favorite pastime was going to the lake with his speed boat, and with either speed boat or motorcycle, he did like to go fast. Very fast! Joe loved his family and his friends. He never met a stranger. He was always willing to help no matter the need. He loved the Lord and talked about him every chance he got. His greatest desire for the end of his life was to be where he is now, in the arms of his Savior Jesus. He was met at the Pearly Gates by his long-time four-legged best friend, Snoop dog. They traveled many miles together. They are sure to be traveling those streets of gold together for eternity, and as you guessed, if there is a way, they're still going fast.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents and one great-nephew, Amos Wilson Lillard.

Joe is survived by one sister, Linda and Jack Lillard. One niece, Shannon and Colin Westcott. Nephew Austin and Missy Carrigan. Nephew Hayden and Anna Lise Lillard.

Six great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forever Memories Funeral Services, Sequoyah Chapel.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the Sallisaw City Cemetery, with his nephew Austin Carrigan officiating.
