STOKES, Doris Louise Anderson, 87, of Richmond, quietly entered into enteral rest at her home December 31, 2022. She was born to the late Ernest and Bertha Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Stokes; son, Reuben; daughter, Joletta Stokes; and grandson, Kevin Devon Harris.
Doris leaves to cherish her loving memory two sons, a devoted daughter, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, three brothers, three sisters-in-law and a host of loving nieces, nephews other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2100 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Celebration of Life, 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1920 Fairmount Ave. Rev. Dr. Herbert Ponder officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
