Wilma L. Roy, 90, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at home.
She was born in Muncie on May 11, 1932, the daughter of Ruby L. and Oliver P. (Jester) Stanley.
Wilma retired from Kerr Glass after thirty- four years of service. She was a member of Lifepoint Church. Wilma loved word search puzzles, along with Hallmark movies.
Survivors include her four children, Steven Carter (Marilyn), David Carter (Jama), Nancy Meyer and Cathy Driscoll (Mike); grandchildren, Kevin Cope (Meisa), Matthew Cope, Lindsey Cope, Ronda Carter, Derek Carter (Rebekah), Jonathon Driscoll, Kyle Driscoll and Nicole Ridge (Connor); great-grandchildren, Deford "CJ", Dylan, Jackson, Hayden and Jake; a sister, Kathleen Norton; brother, Allen Stanley; special friend, Phyllis; along with several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Carter in 1985; second husband, William "Virgil" Roy in 2001; a great-grandson, Leo Carter; along with several brothers and sisters.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Lifepoint Church, 3100 East McGalliard Rd. with Pastor Joe Prewitt officiating. Burial will follow in Mooreland Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the church.
