ECK, Robert Eugene age 83 of West Alexandria died Sun. June 11, 2006 at the V.A. Hospice in Dayton. He was born on April 10, 1923 in West Alexandria to Homer and Lucy (Robert) Eck. He was a graduate of West Alexandria High School and attended Purdue University. He was a WWII veteran serving in the 16th Weather Squadron Army/Air Force. He was a farmer most of his life. He owned Eck Photography and was in business for 25 years. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and member of D.A.V. of Lewisburg.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years Roberta Eck, sons, Andrew (Kim) Eck of Eaton and Steve (Robin) Eck of West Alex., 6 grandchildren; Zachary Eck, Michaela Eck, Tyler Stevens, Katie Stevens, Christopher Eck, and Kathlynn Eck and sister-in-law Virginia Eck of West Alex.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Henry Eck and 2 sisters Rosie Gross and Juanita Marks.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wed. June 14, 2006 at Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria, OH. with Rev. Daniel Snider officiating. Burial will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
