Bertha "Bertie Dunn" Skaggs, 72 of Rushville, passed away on January 2, 2023 in Rushville. She was born on May 2, 1950 in Rushville, IN to the late Alden and Anna (Wolferst) Dunn.
Bertie Dunn was a waitress at the Corner Restaurant and the Park Restaurant in Rushville. She enjoyed going on vacation and coffee dates. Bertie Dunn loved crocheting and painting pictures.
Bertie is survived by her daughters, Mickey (David) Conley of Kendallville and Kimberly Thompson of Rushville; brother, John Dunn of Brookville, longtime friend, Jacqueline Duke of Rushville; 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Bertie is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Nathan Cooper and son, Ricky Byard; 4 sisters ad 3 brothers.
Services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Chip West presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Hopewell Cemetery.
