Isabel Peasley Cabezas Born in Erie, PA, on July 29, 1913, passed away peacefully in her sleep of natural causes April 12 in San Jose.

The beloved mother of three children, Gloria, Charles, and James, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fremont "Monte" Peasley, daughter Gloria, son Charles, and her second husband, Angel Cabezas of Sunnyvale.

She is survived by her son, James, and his wife Pat, of Monte Sereno, daughter-in-law Barbara of Salem, Oregon, sister Margie of So. Carolina, and brother Arthur of Maryland.

Born Isabel Irene Evans, she had four sisters and three brothers while growing up in Pennsylvania and Ohio. She leaves a legacy of 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, residing in five different states.

Isabel (Mom, Gramma, Gamma, Is) will be sadly missed by family and friends. Her son Jim remembers her as a Mother that taught him to respect and care about people and maintain a sense of humor. In addition, "Mom was a great cook, loved to travel in her younger days, enjoyed reading, knitting, and astronomy, and she never missed one of my baseball games. Most of all, she dearly loved her family." Private family services will be held.
