James Paul "Jim" Dannenbrock
1952 - 2012

James Paul Dannenbrock, 60, of Hamilton, Montana, passed away Monday at his home. He was born March 16, 1952, at Marcus Daly Hospital in Hamilton, the son of Lonnie "Lon" and Ellen DeAtley Dannenbrock. His father was a local rancher and real estate broker.

Jim grew up near Corvallis and in Missoula. He attended Target Range School in Missoula and Corvallis High School. He was a true Montana native and loved river rafting, camping, fishing, music, and riding his motorcycle.

Jim was multi-talented; he enjoyed a career of home building, carpentry, and cabinet making. He was especially endowed with mechanical skills. His family remembers Jim for his grand disposition, wonderful heart, loyal love for family and friends. They also remember his courage against all odds, his ingenuity, his ruggedness, grand gusto and humor for life, and his numerous friendships.

Surviving include his life partner, Cindy Prins, of Hamilton; father, Lon; sisters, Carol Sue Dannenbrock and Lana Kay Lambert; brother, Ron Kephart; sister, Nancy Garcia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen, in 2010.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 29 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Rainbow Bar in Hamilton. Daly-Leach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
