Henry Charles Ritter, 79, of Connersville IN, passed away at his residence Thursday morning December 29, 2022.

Henry was born October 18, 1943 in Rensselaer, IN the son of Edward and Edna Pauline (Gilbranson) Ritter. He married Barbara Galloway January 27, 1968 at the First Baptist Church in Covington, IN.

Surviving family include his wife Barbara Ritter, Connersville, IN; two sons, Dennis (Terra) Ritter, Monrovia, IN; Thomas (Courtney) Ritter, Connersville, IN; a sister Marcia Fleming, Chesterton, IN; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille, Charlotte, Doris, and three brothers, James, Paul, and Marvin.

Henry graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1961; Purdue University in 1965; and he served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a High School Ag Teacher for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Crawfordsville, IN.
