Marjorie attended Hunter Public Schools, graduating in 1962. She went on to graduate college from North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, earning a two year degree in business. Shortly after graduating, she worked briefly as a bookkeeper for Whitcomb and Sons before going to work for Adams Incorporated also as a bookkeeper.
Marjorie married Raymond Lee Fuss on August 21, 1970 in Gwinner, ND and made their home there. Both Raymond and Marjorie worked at the Melroe Company in Gwinner, ND. Marjorie worked in inventory control and cost accounting for 20½ years up until her retirement in 1991. Shortly after, she went to work part time as a bookkeeper for Hansen Lumber in Gwinner.
Marjorie loved doing crafts. She also liked to cross stitch, crochet, and play cards with her children and grandchildren. One of Marjorie's biggest enjoyments was watching professional wrestling on television with her husband. After Ray passed away in 2006, a few of her grandchildren and some of their friends would show up on Monday nights to watch wrestling with her. Marjorie's ultimate enjoyment though was spending time with her children and grandchildren on Christmas Eve at her house.
Marjorie is survived by two sons and a daughter, Corey (Nicole) Fuss, Randy (Brandie) Fuss, Juli Fuss, one stepson Gerald Fuss, and two stepdaughters, Karleen (Mike) Heifort, and Shelli (Curt) Colemer. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Barbara, and two brothers Roger and Bernie.
Marjorie's children ask that in lieu of flowers or donations, that you take a moment to hug your children, grandchildren, and friends, stop and take a breath of fresh air, or smile at a stranger. Time waits for no one, so leave a little sparkle wherever you go.
