Craige passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Covenant-Cooper, at the age of 71 years. Craige Leigh Brewster was born on May 8, 1951, in Saginaw, to the late Henry and Irene (Elsinger) Brewster.
Craige is survived by his children; Lisa (Andy) Sherman, Joseph (Angie) Brewster, Wendy (Jimmy) Matzke, Chad (Ali) Brewster, and Craige L. Brewster Jr.; his grandchildren; Cassandra, Brandon (Emilee), Samantha, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Payton, Makenna, Brynn, Adelynn, Alexis, and Austin; his great-grandchildren, Emerson, Kaedri, Jaxon, Haven, Brantley, and Katelynne; his siblings, Mary (Earl) Urbanke, Derrick (Marian) Brewster, Rhonda Becker, Vickie Goddard, Danae, Wayde, and Wayne Brewster. Craige was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Irene Brewster, also his brothers, Gene, Lance, Hank, and a sister Debbie.
Craige owned and operated Atlas Auto, in Saginaw, for many years, and was known and loved by many as "Mr. Atlas". Craige loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and with his brother, Derrick. He loved his furbabies, Remy & Beano. Craige had a very special bond with two of his nieces that he saw as bonus daughters, Kollett Belanger and Natasha Brewster. He liked to work on automobiles, and loved going to the casino with CJ. Craige was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who may be in need.
In accordance with Craige's wishes, cremation will take place. The Brewster family will be planning a Celebration of Life for Craige in May of 2023. Memories and sympathies of Craige may be shared with the family on his memorial website at WakemanFuneralHome.com
