Joan C. Mutchler, 94, of Burgoon, passed away at 12:03 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2022 at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont.
Joan was born September 24, 1928, in Fremont, to the late Charles and Clara (Dickson) Livingstine. She married Wayne M. Mutchler in Fremont on November 19, 1949 and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, David Mutchler of McCutchenville a daughter, Barbara Jones of Bettsville, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Joan was retired from Fremont Memorial Hospital where she worked as an aide. She was a member of Burgoon United Methodist Church.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Lloyd Mutchler, two twin grandchildren, two brothers, Virgil and Norman Livingstine and a sister, Helen Wright.
Funeral services for Joan will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Bettsville. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday at Smith cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Care Center in Fremont.
