Antinnis "Tony" Wanton was born c. 1810/12 in Florida. Tony was married to Catherine "Kate" ___________ sometime before 1833. Tony and Kate are known to have had at least two sons and two daughters and there were almost certainly other children. The ones that are known include;
1. Stephen F. Wanton, born March __, 1834 in Plummer, Duval County, Florida. Stephen served in the U.S. Navy during the Civil War.
Stephen was married to Ella ___________. Stephen F. Wanton died on March 18, 1924 in Plummer, Duval County, Florida and his mortal remains were laid in the Plummer Family Cemetery in Duval County, Florida. On his death certificate, Stephen's parents are listed as Toney Wanton and Katie Wanton.

2. David Wanton, born c. January 3, 1844 in Plummer, Duval County, Florida. David Wanton served as a Private in Co. G of the 1st Regiment of South Carolina Volunteer Infantry (Colored) U.S. during the Civil War.

David was married to Margaret Harriett "Hattie" Godfrey/Godford on March 22, 1874 in Duval County, Florida. Six children were born to David and Hattie, including;

David Wanton died on November 2, 1908 in Duval County, Florida and his mortal remains were laid here in the Plummer Family Cemetery in Duval County, Florida. David's widow, Harriett "Hattie" (Godfrey) Wanton began collecting a Widow's Pension for David's service during the Civil War in November of 1909. It is not known when Hattie died, but she almost certainly is buried here in the Plummer Family Cemetery.

3. Luraina/Lurania/Lorena Wanton,born c. January __, 1853/54/55 in Plummer, Duval County, Florida. Lorena Wanton was married to Reuben Bryant on September 20, 1873 in Duval County, Florida. Reuben and Luraina are believed to have had 10 children, though the 1900 census, says they only had 9 children, only 7 of whom lived to be adults;
