Ben F. Summerford, 58, of Star City, died Tuesday morning at Jefferson Hospital. He as a Lincoln _ _ _ _

Mr. Summerford was born and attended school at Star City.

He was a member of the Lincoln County Farm Bureau and a Baptist.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Novie Robertson Summerford; two sons, James Summerford pf Dumas and Charles Summerford of Hot Springs; a daughter, Ginger Summerford of Star City; a brother, Bob Summerford of Star City; a sister, Mrs. Frank Tiner of Dayton, Texas; four half sisters, Mrs. Wesley O'Neal of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Ralph Norris of Dumas, Mrs. Glen Chance of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Mrs. Guy Roberts of Perryville.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church by Reverend Frank Glover. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Rob Murphy, T. H. Free Jr., Archie Smith, Jack Finch, Vernon Lowe, Edgar Norris, Ellie Johnson and J. T. Frizzell.
