Robert Thomas (Bob) Summerford, 73, of Star City, died today at Jefferson Hospital. He as a farmer.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella Mae Persons Summerford of Star City; a son, Billy Summerford of Star City; a daughter, Mrs. Lorene Telish of Covina, California; a sister, Mrs. Frank Tiner of Dayton, Texas; four half sisters, Mrs. W. H. O'Neal of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Ralph Norris of the Wells Bayou community, Mrs. Glen Chance of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Mrs. Guy Roberts of Perryville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church near Star City by Reverend David Light. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home of Star City.
