Mary M. Bennett Dailey was born May 26, 1931 in Blackton, Arkansas to Andrew and Lovie Morrison. She passed away peacefully in her sleep December 7, 2022, at the age of 91. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister Betty Jo Johnson, and by her husbands Roy Bennett and Marlin Dailey. She is survived by her son Keith Bennett of Blackton and daughters Peggy West (Doug) and Betty Benton, both of Sheridan. She is also survived by grandchildren Chip Bennett (Kathy), Chris Bennett (Michelle), Jonathan West (Wendy), and Dr. Andrew West (Caitlin), as well as by nine great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren.

Mary was a life-long resident of Blackton and was an active member of the community. She was a member of Monroe Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and served in various other ministries.

A visitation was held Monday, December 12, 2022, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, followed by graveside service at McCurley Cemetery (AKA Dyer Cemetery) on County Road 366, near Blackton.

The family would like to thank the staff of Crown Point Assisted Living of Sheridan, Amberwood Nursing and Rehab of Benton, and Hospice Home Care of Little Rock, for their compassionate care of Mary during her final years.
