George H. Denison, 74, of Syracuse , died February 14, 2008, at the VA Medical Center. George retired from Lamson Corp. in 1998 after 40 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post 1276 and a veteran of the Navy, serving on the USS Mole during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen A.; a daughter, Michelle (William) Furlong; a stepson, Richard Barber; three brothers, Charles, Lucius and Anthony Denison; one sister, Ann Conner; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Welter-Price Funeral Home, 2649 James St. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling Hours: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
