Annette Wilson, Former Newton Resident, dies


Mrs. Guy (Annette) Wilson, 89, of Buffalo Lake Nursing Home in Buffalo Lake, Minn., a resident of Newton for 50 years, died Sunday at the nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hughes Funeral Home in Buffalo Lake. Graveside rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Newton Union Cemetery. Loehr Funeral Chapel is handling the Newton arrangements.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Geraldine) Tews of Glencoe, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Jack (Francis) Farmer of Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mrs. Earl Smith.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the United Methodist Church.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Fugard, she was born Feb. 22, 1885, at Newton.
