Deloris Hattie Rodgers, 78, of Agra, died Tuesday Sept. 10, 2002 at her home North of Agra.. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the First Born in Cushing. Brother Wayne Tibbett and Brother Bob Jasper will preside. Interment will follow at the Parkland Cemetery in Parkland.

Funeral services will be under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing.

She was born Aug. 24, 1924 in Chandler to Daniel Ray and Maud (Charity) Herrmann.

She received her early education in Lincoln County at the Victor School and attended the Kendrick High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born.

She was married to Jesse Delbert (J.D.) Rodgers on Feb. 14, 1943 in Cushing. They had lived in the Cushing- Agra area since that time.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include husband J.D. Rodgers of the home; two sons Donald Ray Rodgers and wife Louise and Dorman Rodgers and wife Bonnie both of Agra; two daughters Evangelin A. Hamilton and husband Ernest of Cushing and Sharon Fay Neal and husband Virgil of Henryetta; three brothers Elvis Herrmann of Parkland, Arnold Herrmann of Chandler and Mondis Herrmann of Grand Junction, Colo.; one sister Etta Worthy of Agra; 17 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Julius, Reford, Doyle and Jimmy; and by sisters Freda James, Marie Morris and Edna Gladden.
