DELUSA - Donald, 84, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022. Born July 26, 1938 in Johnstown, son of Rocco and Margaret (Varner) Delusa. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kathleen "Kathy", child "Baby Delusa"; brothers, Nunzio " Jumbo", Charles, Alfred, Richard, Eugene; sisters, Mary Jane Dunlap, Shirley Bates; Brothers-in-law, Roy Dunlap, Raymond Bates and Alfred Jimerson; sisters-in-law Joan Delusa and Darlene Delusa. He is survived by his brothers Robert Delusa of Johnstown PA, William "Bill" Delusa, wife Connie, of Sedro-Woolley WA and his sister Camille Jimerson of Erie PA, Sisters-in-law, Jean Delusa, Grace Delusa, Mary Delusa, Darlene Seth and his Brother-in-law David Cox, his beloved nieces Christina (Delusa) Wilson, husband Erin of Sedro-Woolley WA, Dolores "Dolly" Jimerson of Forks WA and many other nieces and nephews. Don was a veteran proudly serving in the US Marine Corps, earning the rank of Lance Corporal (E-3) and a Good Conduct Medal before earning his honorable discharge in 1965. Following his discharge he married the love of his life, Kathleen Cox, on September 30, 1967 and they made their home in Johnstown PA. Don worked for Delusa Trucking and Auto Salvage until he retired and did odd jobs to keep himself busy. He was a member of St. Therese in Johnstown. He loved his yearly visits to Washington to spend time with his brother Bill, wife Connie and his niece Christina, husband Erin and great nephews Kayle (Stephanie), Ian (Alysia) and great great nephews & niece. During these visits he was also able to spend quality time with his niece Dolores "Dolly" Jimerson. A special thank you to his dear friends Jim and Carlotta, and his brother-in-law David for always making sure he had just exactly what he needed and their unwavering friendship. Family and friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 12:00 noon at St. Therese Catholic Church at 536 Decker Ave., the Rev. Bernard Karmanocky OFM. Committal service will be held at Grandview Cemetery, where the Conemaugh Valley Detachment 287, Marine Corp. League Ritual Team will hold honors.
