MATTIE LABACHOTTE.
Big Pine lost another loving mother Tuesday morning when Mattie Labachotte passed to the great beyond. Deceased was a native of California and had been a resident of Big Pine for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Pete Labachotte, one young daughter and one young son. The funeral services were conducted from the family home, and the remains laid to rest in the Woodman's cemetery Wednesday afternoon. Mattie Labachotte was a mother in every sense that wonderful word implies. She was a faithful and loving wife, and no children were ever showered with more fervent mother love than she gave to her children. The Citizen joins with all Big Pine in extending condolence to the bereaved husband and children.
