THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, March 4, 2001: 'Billie Jean Partridge Martin, 69, of Paris died Friday, March 2, 2001, in Christus St. Joseph's Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 5, in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Calk officiating. The family will receive friends 4-5 p.m. today at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 15, 1931, in Ben Franklin to James Monroe and Dollie Agnes Lott Partridge. She was a retired buyer for the Xerox Corporation and a member of the Elks Lodge. Billie was a member of the Lighthouse Family Church. Mrs. Martin is survived by one daughter, Diane Armstrong Vassar of Lewisville; two sons, Larry Dean Armstrong and Mark Robert Armstrong both of Paris; two stepsons, James Martin of Seattle, Wash. and Brian Martin of Dallas; six grandsons, Matthew Horn of Pittsburg, Okla., Kevin and Eric Armstrong both of Paris, Casey and Crist Armstrong of North Saint Paul - Minneapolis, Minn. and Wesley Rodgers of Paris; one granddaughter, Krystie Osborne of Paris; one great-grandson, Blake Stephens of Paris; three great-granddaughters, Samantha and Katie Horn of Pittsburg, Okla. and Nichole Armstrong of North Saint Paul-Minneapolis; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Virginia and Jack Willingham of Paris, Yvonne and George Eldon Sitz of Paris, and Beth and Cecil Griffith of Trinity; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Martin in 1994. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Horn, Kevin Armstrong, Eric Armstrong, Wesley Rodgers, Kyle Sitz, Terry Sitz, Greg Sitz and Ronnie Wilburn.'
