Claire was born September 30, 1946, in Hazlehurst, MS to St. Clair Thompson, Jr. and Margaret "Emma" Thompson.
Claire enjoyed working for Entergy for many years before her retirement. She was a critical part of the call center in Jackson where she trained many managers and directors. She received the Outstanding Achievement Award for All-Star Performance and the Impact Award.
Claire enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, entertaining, and interior decorating. She also loved all animals. Claire also loved the Lord and had great trust in Him. She loved her family and friends very much and will be missed by all who loved her
Claire was preceded in death by her parents, St. Clair Thompson, Jr. and Margaret "Emma" Thompson. She is survived by her daughter Shaun Joyner who adored her; her son-in-law Tommy Joyner; her grandsons who she loved so much, Noah Joyner and Graham Joyner; her sister, Becky Perrett, and brother-in-law, Fred Perrett. She is also survived by her nephews, Payton Perrett and Tyler Perrett, and their families.
