Angeline Magdits (nee Sabatino) died peacefully at the age of 96 on Saturday, November 26 surrounded by her family. Angeline, born on November 20, 1926, was a lifelong resident of Roseto, PA. The youngest of the 8 children of Filippo and Antonia (Natalizio) Sabatino, Angie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin and aunt. She was also a devoted and loyal friend to the countless legions of those she met. Once she met you, you were her friend for life! Angeline was united in marriage to Louis J. Magdits III in March 1957. She worked in the local garment industry for 56 years and was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, UNITE, Roseto Seniors, and Young at Heart. Angie loved to cook, travel, read and socialize with family and friends alike.

She is survived by her sons, Marc (Lauren) Magdits, Nazareth, PA and Louis (Nancy) Magdits IV, Rolla, MO. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Logan Magdits, Jordan (Nathan) Real, Louis (Anne) Magdits V and Ian (Annie) Magdits as well as 6 great grandchildren: Lachlyn & Remington Real; Louis VI & Genevieve Magdits; and Paul & Gemma Magdits, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Angeline was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, (1973) as well as her siblings Dominic (Mary) Sabatine, Anthony (Rose) Sabatino, Mary Sabatino, Lucy (Leo) Godshalk, Josephine (Frank) Capuano and Anna (Louis) Catino; also, niece JoAnn Callahan, and nephews Phil (Frizz) Sabatino and Phillip Sabatine.

A celebration of life with family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 1 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 230 Market Street, Bangor with Visitation from 10:00-11:00 followed by a service at 11:00. Interment services will follow in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Roseto.
