Mr. Willis died Saturday, August 6, 1990 in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher.
He was born July 13, 1917, in Athens, Texas. He was a retired aircraft mechanic and also served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a long time Sterling resident and a member of First Baptist Church, Sterling. He married Wilma Frances Verner Nov. 6, 1943, in Casper, Wyoming.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Robert Glen, Newalla; and Roy Lee, Rush Springs; three daughters, JoAnn Hale, Rush Springs; Carolyn Pilgrim, Geronimo; and Linda Harmon, Blanchard; a brother, Charlie, Snyder; two sisters, Luna Ferguson, Marionville, Mo.; and Allie Ferguson, Moore; 10 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
