She married Robert J. "Cap" Bollig on April 7, 1947, in Hays. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1999.
She was a legal secretary for Judge Flood, a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas L. Bollig, Hays; Michael L. Bollig, Kansas City, Mo., and Richard Bollig and wife, Jackie, Hays; a daughter-in-law, Connie Bollig, Hays; two sisters, Viola Ross and Dorothy Dreiling, both of Hays; 10 grandchildren, Alison Alfonsi and husband, Corey, Topeka, Ryan Bollig, Kansas City, Mo., Aaron Bollig, Hays, Amy Marsh and husband, Troy, Denver, Melissa Morgan and husband, Russ, Kansas City, Kan., Amber Kentz and husband, Lichen, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Justin Bollig and Nicole Reid and husband, Derek, all of Kansas City, Kan., Katie Zogleman and husband, Chad, Overland Park, and Benjamin Bollig, Fort Collins, Colo.; and four great-grandchildren, Ella Marsh, Denver, Dylan Bollig, Dallas, Carson Alfonsi, Topeka, and Eleanor Kentz, Saratoga Springs.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. "Bob" Bollig Jr.; a brother, Frank Dreiling; and a sister, Mary Ann Thummel.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a parish vigil service at 7 p.m., and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, all at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays.
Memorials are suggested to Capuchin Province of Mid-America or Hospice Foundation of Hays.
