Selma, Ala., March 29
J. W. Watts, 77 years old and an old resident of Summerfield, Ala., about nine miles out from Selma, was found dead in his bed at a late hour Thursday night from natural causes incidental to his age. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. J. W. Watts and a daughter and son. Funeral services were held at the home in Summerfield Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Mr. McCrarey, Baptist minister in the community. Interment was made in the family burying ground at Oakmulga.
