STELLA WALKER (REBER) LANDERS

Stella P. Landers, 89, died at 10:18 a.m. Monday at her residence on October 21, 1996 in Taylorville, Illinois.
Mrs. Landers was born October 10, 1907 in Taylorville, the daughter of James Howard and Susan Jane Campbell Walker. She married Clyde Reber in 1924 in Taylorville and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1950. She then married Harry W. Landers on November 13, 1952 in Taylorville. Mrs. Landers was a homemaker and a member of the Free Methodist Church in Taylorville.
Surviving are her second Husband, Harry, four sons, Clyde Reber Jr., Raymond Reber, Williard P. Reber and Roger Reber all of Taylorville; a daughter Vivian Ellinger of Taylorville, 29 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother Russell Walker all of Taylorville and several nieces and nephews and a step-daughter Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde; sons Bill and Eugene Reber; two brothers Bill and James Arthur Walker; and four sisters, Hattie Carpenter, Myrtle Sutton, Mary Wilkins and Marcella Evrley. And a step-son Harry Vaughn (Sonny) Landers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 1996 at Sutton Memorial Home In Taylorville. Rev. Roger Sherman will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
