Arthur died one half mile East of Tabiona in a airplane crash.

He was an Lt. Col. Executive Officer. Served in World War II. LTC Lazenby was the 115th Engineer Group Commander (Utah Army National Guard) at the time of his death. Rock monument is located at Camp Williams, Bluffdale, Salt Lake County, Utah.
