Daisy was born in Bradley, Kentucky which was a crossroad for the railroad and road and is a part of Salyersville. Daisy was the daughter of Elbert Sizemore and Julia Patton Sizemore. She had four brothers Leroy, Kash and, Alfred (Blackie), and Wilfred(Whitie)who were twins. She also had a sister Eula.
Daisy had a lot of good memories of her family and friends in Magoffin County. Her Best friend was Goldie McCarty. while they were young Goldie and
She spoke fondly of attending the one-room schoolhouse and the little church there.
Daisy and her mother and brothers and sister moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana soon after the death of her father Elbert.
They moved to Fort Wayne for economic opportunity and for healing. Daisy worked as an Inspector for the Horton Manufacturing Company. It was then that she met her future husband Lawrence Bauch. They were married on February 1, 1946.
Their children were four daughters Alice, Myrtle 2nd, Lana,
Roberta, Two sons Larry G. and David W.
Their son Larry died in 1957. Her mother Julia died in 1959.
Daisy also worked at the General Electric Company, the Wayne Knitting Mills and Slicks Laundry, and the Parkview
Hospital.
She was a member of St.John Lutheran Church 729 W.Washington
Blvd.
She enjoyed the Super Sixties Program at Blackhawk and the senior citizen activities at the senior center233 W.Main.
She loved her grandchildren Terry, Rebecca, Timothy, Mathew, Emily, and her great-grandchildren Julia and Trevor.
She loved Country and Bluegrass Music, Big band music, and the music of Henry Mancini. She and Lawrence loved to watch the Lawrence Welk show on T.V and they danced at his ballroom in Santa Monica when they lived there.
They both were longtime faithful bus riders in Fort Wayne and had developed a good Report with many of the drivers who had provided them with many years of excellent service.
Daisy and Lawrence would walk daily and that walking together was a blessing in their lives.
Many members of St.John recall Daisy and Larry walking to church on Sundays.

Daisy F.Sizemore Bauch 87 passed away Friday, February 08, 2008, at Lutheran Home in Fort Wayne.
Born in Salyersville, Ky she was an assembler with the General Electic Company for 10 years and was also a homemaker. She was a member of St.John Lutheran Church.
Survivors include daughters, Roberta L. Hitzeman, Alice F. Landis, Lana J.Bauch, and Myrtle B. Bauch all of Fort Wayne, son David W.Bauch of Fort Wayne;4 grandchildren,2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 2007 and a son Larry in 1957.
The service is 10 a.m.Tuesday at St.John Lutheran Church 729 W.Washinton Blvd. with calling one hour prior. Dr.Frederick W.Meuter officiating. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to9 Monday at D.O.McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home.1140 Lake Avenue.Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.Memorials to St John Lutheran Church.
Her daughter Alice Bauch Landis, died on August 4, 2010.
Her Daughter in Law Lori Bourne Bauch( wife of son David) died on March 2, 2014
