A cousin ask a Judge here in St. Joseph, MO if he could get permission to check the records at the State Hospital #2 in St. Joseph, for the records of Sarah Jane Bledsoe Cobb. He gave his permission and this is what the records said. The records showed that Sarah was a Protestant and that she was at the State Hospital from December 14, 1907 until her death, January 18, 1908. Her son, William J. Cobb was the person who had her admitted. She was blind and senile and needed someone to look after her. Her son, William J. Cobb took her body for burial.

Information about where the headstone was located was given to me by my cousin, Chuck Walker of St. Joseph, MO.
The stone was hidden in a large group of yucca plants. It took quite a while to dig and cut away at the plants to expose the stone.

Inscription

Headstone reads "Sarah Cobb". Name seems to be carved into the stone by hand. The headstone was resting in a large group of yucca plants at the Frazier cemetery. Sarah's grandson is supposedly nearby, hope to uncover his headstone soon.
