Louis F. Allain, 82 of Cheboygan passed away on June 28, 2018 at his home.
Louis was born on September 7, 1935 in Flint, MI the son of Frederick and Vina (Prevo) Allain. He grew up in Herron, MI and attended school at Alpena Catholic Central. On April 12, 1958 he married Antoinette Renaud at the Indian River Catholic Church. He proudly served his country for eight years in the National Guard. Louis enjoyed camping, hunting, dancing, and baking. He was a true family man and a wonderful father and grandfather. Louis was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Louis is survived by his wife Antoinette, children Keith Allain, Frederick (Debra) Allain, Laurie (J.C.) Brooke, Wendy (Rick Reimann) Allain, and Todd (Sherri) Allain, grandchildren Louis Allain II, Angela Allain, Leslie Allain, Rachel Charboneau, Jodi Brooke, Jamie (Michael) Lemmer, Donald Hamlin, Todd Allain Jr., and Michelle (Matt) Krussell, eight great-grandchildren, and six siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Judy Allain, grandchild-in-law Chad Charboneau, and four siblings.
Services for Louis will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Indian River United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 11am-12pm, memorial service at 12pm.
