Mrs. Jennie Brent
Mrs. Jennie Brent, 79, resident of Grady for the past 22 years, died at 10:00 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her son, Earl Brent in Grady.
Mrs. Brent, daughter of the late Mary and Kit Flynn was born in 1870 in Lincoln County, where she spent her childhood and received her education.
She was married to Jimmy Brent in 1889 at Reydell, making their home in Lincoln county. For the past 22 years Mrs. Brent had made her home with her son at Grady.
Mrs. Brent was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church of Grady.
Surviving is one son, Earl Brent, Grady, Ark., one granddaughter, Mrs. Eva May Rayburn, Lyford, Texas, one grandson, Earl Brent who is in the U. S. Navy, stationed at Trinidad, Cuba, two sisters, Missouri Mason, Grady, and H. C. Smith, Pine Bluff.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by South Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Brent, 79, will be held at the McDill cemetery, Grady, at 3 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Sparkman, pastor of the South Side Baptist Church, Pine Bluff. Burial Will Be in the McDill cemetery, South Funeral home in charge.
Active pallbearers will be: S. W. Blankenship Jr., Elston Drennon, G. H. Bitely, Fred Swayze, M. H. Bitely Jr., W. P. Blankenship, Earl Place, and Knox Bitely.
Honorary pallbearers will be: M. H. Bitely, S. W. Blankenship, C. P. Clemmons, E. H. Clemons, O. D. Harshaw, Knox Nelson, O. B. McGraw, and Ned Nelson.
