Bryce C. Shiner, age 80, passed away surrounded by family on November 8, 2022 in Lafayette, Colorado. He was born September 18, 1942 in Vernal, Utah to Ella Gurr Shiner and Deward Harold Shiner.

Bryce received a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah. Bryce worked as an Electrical Engineer in the semi-conductor industry for more than 30 years, and he finished his career as a Quality Assurance manager, retiring in 2007. His love for movies started at a young age while growing up in the theater business and continued throughout his life. He loved music and played the piano, clarinet, and saxophone, in several bands including at the University of Utah.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings including; Young Men's President, Councilor in the Bishopric, Stake Clerk, Membership Clerk of many years, Nursery Leader, Temple Worker, a Bishop Storehouse worker, and many more.

Bryce was a wonderful husband and father. He loved to tinker and build things, and be in his garden.

Bryce married his sweetheart Susan Lola Huber, on September 19, 1970. They shared 52 wonderful years together. Together the have 4 children.

He is survived by his dear wife Susan; children Darlene (Russell Keith) Hill, of Fort Collins, CO.; Jennifer (Gregory Bert) Adair, of Eagle, Colorado, CO.; Bryce Kevin (Kelley Leland) Shiner, of Aurora, CO.; and Lisa (Klaton Douglas) Knabb of Starke, FL.; 18 grandchildren, brother Brent (Renee) Shiner, of Vernal, UT.; brother-in-law Spencer Davis, husband to the late Sandra Davis (Sister).

He is preceded in death by his parents Deward Harold and Ella Gurr Shiner; sister Sandra Davis, and an older brother that passed away at birth.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Vernal Memorial Park, with a private family viewing prior. Services are under the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
