Born on March 28, 1927 in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Doris (Green) Ferdinand.
A resident of Seekonk for the past twenty-three years, June worked as an Inspector for the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA, for twenty-five years, and was the proud owner and operator of the former Mayfaire Beauty and Hair Salon in downtown New Bedford, MA. She had previously lived in Attleboro.
An avid reader, June enjoyed knitting and cooking sweets, especially for her cherished family. She had a special place in her heart for her late dog, "Nike".
She was the loving mother of Arthur Michael Bourgeois and his wife, Janet Bourgeois, of South Attleboro, MA; Harold F. Bourgeois and his wife, Beverly Bourgeois, of Pigeon Forge, TN; Jacqueline "Jackie" D. Greene and her husband, Thomas V. Greene, of Seekonk, MA; June E. Perkoski and her husband, Walter Perkoski, of Rehoboth, MA; and Judith A. Leonard and her husband, Barry Leonard, of Seekonk, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. June was the sister of Sheila Federico and the late Harold Ferdinand, and leaves one nephew and three nieces.
Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Funeral and Celebration of Life Service on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, 1188 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Graveside service at St. John's Cemetery in Attleboro, at which time June will be laid to rest alongside her dear late husband, Arthur.
