Clara Boucher of 10 Hudson (aka Franklin) Street, was born in St. Francis, PQ, Canada, the daughter of Ambrose (21 May 1835) and Celina (Matheux) Nadeau ( 15 Dec 1838).
On 4 Apr 1904, Clara married Joseph A. Boucher (17 Jan 1881), the son of George & Marie (Pepin) Boucher, at St. Augustine's Church in Augusta ME. They had three children, Anais (b. 26 February 1907); Georgianna (b. 27 May 1919) and Wilfred Joseph Boucher (b. 16 Aug 1916). She was employed as a spinner at the Bates cotton mill.
Clara died of cardiac decompensation at MaineGeneral (formerly Augusta General) after suffering for several years with arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). She was predeceased by her husband on 28 Jun 1937, and by her daughter Anais in 1912. She is survived by her daughter Georgianna, by her son Wilfred and his wife Doris (Labbe), and by her grandchildren Connie, Lorraine, and Ron Boucher.
She is buried in St. Augustine Cemetery, presumably in the same lot with her husband.
