John A. Hensley, 82, 318 Hubble St., Eaton, died early Friday morning at a Dayton rest home after a lingering illness. He was a retired farmer and resident of the Eaton area 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally in 1962.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mary Minor of Eaton, Mrs. Cuba Duckett and Mrs. Ida Brenner, both of Richmond, Ind., four sons, Charles and Jim Hensley, both of Eaton, Joe Hensley, Richmond, Ind, and Cecil Hensley of Trenton, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Duvall of Shelbyville, Ind., and Mrs. Ida Hensley of Piney Flats, Tenn; 42 grandchildren numerous great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Hensley were held Monday at the Barnes Funeral Home in Eaton with rev. Charles Haney officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery.
