Born May 5, 1943, in Carrizozo, Lincoln County, New Mexico, she was a daughter of the late Robert Henry Ashby and Mary Linnie Waldrop Ashby.
Surviving are her daughter, Carla York; granddaughters, Lil Charon and Mikki D.; seven great-grandsons; siblings, Carl Ashby, Robert Ashby, Shirley Ann Ashby Hopper, and Betty Lou Ashby Pruett; as well as many nieces and nephews who call her Aunt Nee Nee.
Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Granbury Church of God, Granbury, Texas, with burial following in Rock Church Cemetery.
