Mrs. Martha J Shover, 79, widow of Charles B Shover, Pennersville, died suddenly at 7:30 Wednesday at her home of a heart attack. She had been ill for the last five weeks.
Mrs. Shover was born at Fountaindale, the daughter of Isaac and Mary Cline Warren, and all of her life lived in the Fountaindale, Monterey and Blue ridge Summit section.
She was a member of the church of the Transfiguration. She was also a member of the Spanish American War veterans auxiliary, Gettysburg.
Her husband died in March 1935.
Surviving are four children; F.B. Shover, Blue Ridge Summit; L.W. Shover, Delta, Pa.; Mrs. Glenn Brown, State Sanatorium, Md.; and Mrs. Samuel Pittinger, Charmian. seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, these brothers and sisters, George Warren, Gettysburg; Mrs. Till Hull and William Warren, both of Fairfield r2; Isaac N Warren, Wayne Heights and Mrs. Mabel Benchoff, Charmian, also survive.
Funeral services Saturday afternoon at 2:30 from the home with services at the Church of the Transfiguration at 3:00 in charge of Rev. J Boyd Davis. Interment in st. Jacob's Reformed cemetery near Fountaindale.
