They raised their only daughter, Arline, in Palos Park, a suburb of Chicago. May retired with her husband to Florida. They were married nearly 53 years when, George preceded her in death in 1970. May died in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1975. She was survived by her dear grandchildren. Her daughter, Arline, preceded her in death in 1971.
