SHARON - Mrs. Grover E. (Alzora Gertrude) Dixon of Sharon RD 2 died at home Thursday afternoon following a lingering illness.

Born in Clarion County, January 19, 1887, she was the daughter of David and Emma Whitmore Smith. Surviving are her husband, Grover E. Dixon, one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Eleanor) Bartholomew of Sharon RD 2, four sons, Harold S. of Sharpsville, Donald A., of Mercer, James F., Sharpsville and Jay A., of Greenville, and one sister, Mrs. Myrna McGraw of Sharon. 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was a member of The United Presbyterian Church of Sharpsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Donaldson-Monheny Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Sharpsville. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the funeral home.
